As part of the Ballard Art Walk, I’ll be hosting artist Akiko Kino in March. Akiko is a long-time resident of Tokyo, who has lived in the States for nearly three years. Her use of a knife instead of a brush to apply paint gives her paintings texture and dimension that you’ll want to see in person to truly appreciate.
